Cosa è e a cosa serve il training autogeno
E’ una tecnica di rilassamento basata sulla correlazione tra gli stati psichici (in particolare le emozioni) e aspetti somatici degli individui. Ogni esperienza viene mediata dal soma: attraverso questo si può , usando una sorta di “ corsia preferenziale”, risalire all’origine dell’esperienza stessa.
Il fine è quello di arrivare ad un assetto psicofisiologico del soggetto che, con un adeguato allenamento (training), avrà carattere di stabilità e costanza nel tempo e che produrrà una modifica nella risposta emozionale rispetto a situazioni di natura stressante.
Il T.A. è quindi una tecnica indicata soprattutto in quei casi in cui l’aspetto emozionale sia centrale.
La pratica del training autogeno ha tra le sue finalità un maggior controllo dello stress, dell’ansia, degli attacchi di panico, dell’insonnia e dell’ipertensione.
E’ inoltre importante sapere che il rilassamento, in questa pratica, non è l’aspetto principale, ma è un “effetto collaterale” del mutato equilibrio psico-fisico.
P.S. questa tecnica è fortemente controindicata in soggetti affetti da psicosi e depressione importante.
